Hoppy is comprised of an array of musicians and friends based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together, they combine the musical influences that inspire them to create an organic and nostalgic sound. After 7 years of development as a group, a deliberate shift in musical direction produced a collection of songs that reflect the people they have grown to become. Hoppy has been performing these songs live at venues around Salt Lake City in early 2024 and will be releasing them together as an album titled Little While later this year.

"The Casio" is the first single from the album and Hoppy's first release since 2022. This song introduces Hoppy's new sound, a blend of genres and influences including soul and R&B. Other singles from the upcoming album will be released throughout the summer of 2024.

Over the years, Hoppy has performed at popular venues in the Salt Lake City area, including Kilby Court, Urban Lounge, The Beehive, Velour, and others. Through live performances and music releases over the years, they have built a following of passionate fans both locally and outside of Utah.
